Forget the S-500 or Su-57 PAK-FA. Russia's Military Has Big Plans for the Future.

Russia has started planning for the development of a series of next-generation weapons to follow-on to systems such as the Sukhoi Su-57 PAK-FA and the S-500 surface-to-air missile (SAM) battery. These new systems—which the Russian government has not named—will be developed under future advanced State Armament Program.

“An important and key issue on our agenda is to define the beginning of the creation of yet another advanced state armament program,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting of the Kremlin’s Military Industrial Commission . Putin said that Russia has to start planning for its future defense needs now as it completes developmental programs that were funded under the current State Armament Plan (GPV-2027). “It is important for us to move further and start planning today the future development and production of advanced weapons and equipment that will define the image of the Russian Armed Forces in the long-term, for the next few decades,” Putin said. Türk mühendislerinden zırh ötesi görüş gözlüğü ve zırhlı araçlara multikopter desteği:

"Ankara'da faaliyet gösteren BİTES Savunma ve Havacılık tarafından geliştirilen zırh ötesi görüş, ana muharebe tankları, zırhlı muharebe araçları gibi personeline dış dünyayı görme imkanı sunmayan askeri zırhlı araçlarda takılan gözlük vasıtasıyla dışarıyı görme imkanı sunuyor. Gözlüğü takan personel kafasını hangi yöne çevirirse zırhı görmeksizin doğrudan aracın dışını görebiliyor. Böylece özellikle şehir savaşlarında araca yaklaşmaya çalışabilecek olan düşman unsurlarına karşı büyük bir avantaj ortaya çıkıyor.

Cross-Domain Network Engagement: Geopolitical Competitors, Cross-domain Considerations and Multi-Domain Battle

Image
Cross-Domain Network Engagement: Geopolitical Competitors, Cross-domain Considerations and Multi-Domain Battle | Small Wars Journal:

"Introduction

The character of war, strategy development and operational dilemmas change over time, therefore operational approaches must do the same. Joint Countering Threat Networks (JP 3-25) includes versatile lines of effort to identify, neutralize, disrupt or destroy threat networks.  These efforts enable engagement of friendly, neutral or unknown actors and mission objectives.

To successfully engage networks, more advanced human-machine networks need to be understood and analyzed. For example, battle networks are technologically enhanced Anti-Access Area Denial (A2/AD) and human-machine systems that will influence current and future conflict. This assessment outlines a revised US Army Network Engagement construct to achieve cross-domain effects involving a variety of actors and competitors in a convergent operational environment."

From Science Fiction to Reality: U.S. Navy Technology and Innovation:

Decades later, Star Wars and Star Trek helped captivate millions more with the idea. But all along, the Office of Naval Research has been steadfastly developing the real thing. Starting in the 1950s, ONR sponsored research that ultimately led to the first "lasers" (light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation)."
