U.S. Army signs contract to synchronize geospatial technology systems

FAIRFAX, Va. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Army Geospatial Center has awarded General Dynamics its Geospatial, Research, Integration, Development and Support (GRIDS) III contract.

The multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity  has a potential value of approximately $200 million, which covers one base year and four option years.
Under the terms of the contract,  will provide technical services to help coordinate, integrate, and synchronize geospatial information requirements and standards across the U.S. Army. In addition, General Dynamics will will develop geospatial enterprise-enabled systems that will directly support warfighters in the field. Work on the contract will be performed at locations around the world.
