Turkish PM: no evidence that attack helicopter was shot down in Syria | Jane's 360: "There is no evidence that the Turkish T129 ATAK helicopter that crashed in Syria’s Afrin region on 10 February was shot down, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım said on 14 February.

Yıldırım added that the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) investigation had not been completed as yet.

The People’s Protection Units (YPG), the Kurdish group defending Afrin against the military operation that Turkey and allied Syrian groups launched on 20 January, claimed the helicopter was shot down.
