Russia’s Army 2018 exhibition to showcase 600 weapon systems

The exposition of the Army-2018 international military and technical forum will showcase about 600 pieces of armament, military and special hardware, Russia’s Defense Ministry announced on Friday.
"About 600 items of armament, military and special hardware of Russia’s Defense Ministry will be demonstrated on the site of the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center, the Kubinka aerodrome and the Alabino training range within the framework of the Army 2018 military and technical forum," the ministry said.
The static exposition will feature more than 300 weapon systems and almost the same number will be involved in a dynamic show, the ministry noted.
During the dynamic show, the forum’s participants and guests will view the firepower and maneuvering capabilities of over 90 combat vehicles, aircraft and special hardware of Russia’s Defense Ministry.
Besides, 26 aircraft of Russia’s Aerospace Force and the Navy will be demonstrated at the Kubinka airfield.
The Army international military and technical forum is an exhibition of armaments and military hardware held outside Moscow by Russia’s Defense Ministry. This year, the forum will be held on August 21-26.
