Aeryon officially unveiled the R80D SkyRaider multimission unmanned rotorcraft at the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International's (AUVSI's) Xponential 2018 in Denver.
The R80D SkyRaider is the latest development from Aeryon Defense USA, which is the fully owned subsidiary of Aeryon Labs Inc and set up early in 2018.
The new addition to Aeryon’s unmanned aircraft system (UAS) family is a multimission platform that can also carry and drop a maximum payload of 2 kg. It features an open architecture for alternative mission types, including counter-improvised explosive device (IED), signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic warfare (EW), communications relay, and intelligence gathered during counter-operations.
