Norwegian Battle Lab & Experimentation (NOBLE), part of the Norwegian Joint Headquarters, presented the concept, which uses a Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) to launch a Boeing SDB, at the static display in Trondheim, Norway, during the distinguished visitors day on 30 October.
Saab and Boeing tested the GLSDB in 2015 using an M26 ground-based rocket motor from MLRS and presented it at DSEI in September of that year.
The mobility and firing of the system is scheduled to be tested in autumn 2019.
