The annual competition is held in different locations in Europe and is designed to demonstrate and compare the capabilities of unmanned vehicles via scenarios such as security missions, convoying, and day and night reconnaissance.
Alain Tremblay, vice-president, Business Development Rheinmetall Canada, told Jane’s , “ELROB was the first time where Rheinmetall was able to compare the Mission Master against similar systems. As such, it was a very rewarding experience and the interaction with the other teams was open and allowed us to learn a lot.”
