At stand D36, the Spanish company presents its system for surveillance and security missions. The novelties include solutions in RPAS, emphasizing solar energy as the main source of propulsion.

The USV is compatible as an organic vessel on larger ships to perform various tasks, from surveillance and monitoring of objectives to maritime interdiction operations, through perimeter, port, mine and rescue and salvage actions.

The Mist has 3.12 meters of length, 1.12 meters of beam, 0.23 meters of medium draft and a strut with mast of 2.20 meters. These dimensions make it configurable depending on the mission to be performed, being able to incorporate different equipment and sensors.

The boat is built in carbon-epoxy resin and vacuum laminated, facilitating the navigability of the vessel and the development of its functions in mined waters.

Tunadrone and the Cíes

Marine Instruments will also present its other autonomous defense systems such as its Tunadrone and Cíes drones. The first is a drone that can easily embark on naval units for operation by the crew. The solar panels that it incorporates give it more than six hours of autonomy.

For its part, the Cies is prepared to operate on land, especially in rough terrain, being able to withstand gusts of wind of up to 50 kilometers per hour. Together with these systems, Marine Instruments presents its oceanographic data processing software and multiple analysis modes.
