During the trial, the Hero 120 was launched from a Bell 412EP helicopter, showcasing its ability to complete a sensor-to-shooter cycle by effectively striking a ground target. The test encompassed various parameters, including launching from a safe altitude that didn't compromise the helicopter's safety, seamless transfer of tactical control between on-board and ground operators, navigation of the munition to a forward location, system control within a range of 30km from the helicopter, and successfully hitting a ground target after a 50km flight.
